Carey’s 40th - Part One Posted

January 23rd, 2008 · No Comments

The final selection of photographs from Carey’s 40th birthday party wound up at an even hundred.

Part One, containing the first fifty, has been posted. (Missed Tuesday by thirty minutes. Sorry…;)

Please enjoy.

Have to say, a hundred final photos is many more than I expected when this got underway Saturday evening. I hope you like them as much as I do — a nice set of photos. (And the second part’s better.)

I have to thank:

  • Carey (and Chris), for a great party
  • The guests, who were all wonderfully gracious (and put up with a flash!), and
  • Joshua and Southern Hosting Services, for letting me constantly get in their way.

My favorite two:

Exactly right. (Felt that black & white — well, actually, a nearly-desaturated sepia — was more appropriate for the black tie occasion.)

And a nice moment in the party:

Note the lack of titles. Decided for not use in these two sets; too many people whose names I didn’t get, honestly. This time, let’s let the photos speak for themselves.

Part two tomorrow. The vast majority of my favorite photographs — 14 of 16 — come from part two, to tantalize….

Shameless plug: All these photos are available as prints, in your choice of sizes (there are even matting and frame options). Please be generous in your support of this Macon artist by ordering some prints or hiring me to photograph your event. Thank you.
