It’s been a screwy couple of weeks, with unexpected details finishing up construction around the house, several folks falling down stairs — including yours truly, hereafter known as “Mr. Grace” (not), and sweet Trish, who did some damage to herself on the trip down (no pun intended) — and an all-too-short visit to Florida. One of recent year’s highlights, as far as I’m concerned, is celebrating the bounty that is Thanksgiving with Dan and Monica.
Most of that has been about knowing great friends. Some, however, has to do with Dan’s simply-amazing turkey:

Enjoyed Easter weekend with Dan and Monica and selected portions of the Magnolia Street Mob. What a fun group of folks.
The theme was Tapas, with a huge selection of little stuff instead of one huge ham (Connor notwithstanding…;)

Enjoyed a great photostroll with Gerald and Phillip last Saturday, starting with a quick stop in Preston, Georgia, followed by a longer-than-expected stop in Plains (home of President Jimmy Carter), Americus, and finally a shorter-than-expected stop in Andersonville. (We settled in just as they closed. Sheesh.)
It was especially interesting to visit the Carter visitor’s center [...]

Enjoyed the first Cocktail Hour of the year tonight, courtesy of Dan and Monica — whose ability to draw a crowd remains without parallel. I’d estimate 50+ people, including more than a few new faces.
