A Slightly Different Focus

Enjoyed dinner and porch time with Dan, Connor, and Thad Friday evening, keeping two dads company while their wives are out of town this weekend.
I didn’t know that Thad could play a guitar (let alone how well) — but Connor knew, and was especially happy:

My good friend Phillip turned thirty last Friday, and to celebrate, his wife Neecee planned a mystery weekend. The destinations were kept from him right up until — and after — we left on the trip.

Enjoyed a really nice — if too short — Cocktail Hour tonight. Alas, due to workload, it was literally an hour (well, a little plus — not enough), so only a few photographs from the evening.

Enjoyed an photostroll with Gerald over the weekend, which took us to Jarrell Plantation, a local State Park and Historic Site. We’d been trying to go for years, it seems, and of course they were doing restoration work this winter afternoon.
