Went on a photostroll with Gerald this afternoon, taking in 100+ photographs at High Falls State Park, almost 40 miles north of Macon. Enjoyed it very much — and added a few items to the database:

1. An interesting review of perhaps the most interesting new camera in a while (for me, at least): the Sigma DP-1, at Luminous Landscape. Bottom line: great RAW photos from a compact yet deeply flawed camera. Hmmmm — great photos with flawed hardware. Sounds like their lenses, too…;)

For a while now, I’ve been meaning to recode this blog such that there are two classes of posts:

“Post-type posts,” which are similar to this entry — because this type of entry is all that I’ve got set to go right now.
“Quickie-type posts,” which are snippets, things that aren’t worthy of a full post, but [...]

I’m caught up … with the design projects. Everything on the design “to do” list is current. Su-weet!
On the other hand … I’m like a month behind with photos. The list below is still pretty accurate, just not yet posted…;)
