A Slightly Different Focus

I’ve know Janie and Churchey for most of the time I’ve lived in Macon; we have mutual friends — Calvin and Allison* especially.
Originally, this event was to have been a little bigger, but it was scaled back to a simple, friendly, civil ceremony at the Courthouse in downtown Macon.

It’s been a screwy couple of weeks, with unexpected details finishing up construction around the house, several folks falling down stairs — including yours truly, hereafter known as “Mr. Grace” (not), and sweet Trish, who did some damage to herself on the trip down (no pun intended) — and an all-too-short visit to Florida. We waited more than two weeks for a nice, warm day. No such luck.
Indeed, for the second session in a row, we suffered from fog. Sheesh.
Nonetheless, some pretty great results — celebrating downtown, despite the fog:
