The Long-Lost Garden Tour

The Long-Lost Garden Tour

Finished up the Garden Tour photographs on Tuesday, then wound up uploading them several times to correct timeouts, misnaming, and other problems. Finally, though, 168 photographs in all grace the gallery.

It’s flowers, sure:

And a reminder that some of these are actual gardens:

What I like perhaps even more on a tour like this are not the specific flowers but that they’re in a context. I love snapdragons in pretty much any context, but here, the bird bath really adds to the scene:

The details that add to the scene are wonderful, too. Speaking of birds, I love this house, for instance:

As always, I’ve thrown in a bonus or two. Including this “official” greeter:

Find all of the 168 photographs in the Garden Tour gallery here. Thanks for your patience in the posting delay.

Note: Gerald’s gallery from this Tour is here — another 104 photographs to enjoy, for a total of 272 between us. Not bad for a few plants…;)

I’m on something over the weekend, but I’m determined to get to the back snapshots post sooner than later. Plus, I might post one or two from tonight’s Cocktail Hour, although probably not before the weekend. More on the plan for next week, either way — as always, thanks for stopping by.
