Finally, a Party
Significantly behind again; yet another of those eighty-hour work weeks prevented me from getting to last weekend’s photographs before now.
Thankfully, I was able to finish up the Thomasson Kentucky Derby Party before being out of the office for a long weekend. Please expect the Gardens photographs, at long last, Wednesday or Thursday. In the meantime, your patience is appreciated.
Glad that this set is available, too. There’s some good stuff in here — more than just the favorites I tagged the other day.
Like this one:

The food, which was largely pot luck, was fantastic — including the above. Or perhaps you prefer another sort of, um, dish:

Then there’s another of that adorable little girl:

And, because he’s not featured enough on here — LOL! — a great shot of Connor:

Love the intensity of his expression.
Last but not least, the set leads off with a few still-life images caught around the house. Including this one, of one of my favorite subjects:

Insect garden ornaments made of recycled materials for the win, ladies and gentlemen.
58 photographs in all posted. Please enjoy.
Up next: I hope to catch up with a back post over the weekend, then the Macon Gardens mid-week, once I’m back in the office. Have a great weekend, everyone!
Update: Obviously, didn’t get to the weekend post, but did make it back to the office — only to be welcomed by a monstrous to-do list. Will get to the Gardens hopefully tomorrow, and others as soon as I possibly can. Thanks so much for your patience. [And great comments! —Ed.]
