Auburn, Alabama and Columbus, Georgia
Falling farther and farther behind on posting. However, if you’ll forgive me, I’m okay with it.
This Friday and Satuday, instead of finally finishing up the Maine photographs, perhaps as I should have, I let the camera take me out to see my good friends Phillip and Neecee.
She is a doctoral student at Auburn University, and I’ve been curious to see the campus since first hearing it described, more than a year ago.
Consider that itch scratched — for now:

Samford Hall at Sunset
Interesting place … of 24,000+ students, 4500+ faculty, and all of the others needed to support such a large facility. Plus a true college town literally across the street.
We also spent time on Saturday in two different places in Columbus: Cooper Creek and the Environmental Center at the south end of the Riverwalk. Good stuff.
Last but not least, great to meet Neecee’s delightful mother, Adel. Having met both of her parents now, it’s easy to see why she’s such a great person.
Big thanks to both Phillip and Neecee for, as always, a wonderful couple of days.
More on those soon. After Maine, promise. Oh, and happy daylight savings — already. Sheesh.
