Thirteen … Cocktails

Appreciated a good time with Tagg and Angelic as hosts of this week’s get-together. As I’ve said so many times before, Cocktail Hour — and the friends it offers up regularly — is one of the reasons I enjoy Macon so much.

So, this Friday the thirteenth, I offer up thirteen Cocktail Hour photographs … including this, of someone who has a “slightly different” look:

Carey’s (New) Beard

Always great to see Craig, too, who seemed to be enjoying himself (with cause, as I understand — congrats):

Craig’s (Good Times) Beer

Was also struck by how much the kids along seemed … well, like they weren’t really babies any more. Here’s Connor, enjoying the attention paid to his “goodnight exit” (love the expressions, especially):

Connor’s (Kiss) Goodnight

Then there’s Noah. Winning the “photograph of the night,” with this:

Noah, Demanding

Last but not least, good to finally meet local photographer Walter Elliott, shown here talking dress codes shop with Gerald:

Walter and Gerald, Discussing Photography

Sooner or later, I’m going to meet all of the photographers in Macon. (Being an artists’ town, there are many — glad.) Delighted to get to know one of the more well-known during this occasion. Thanks, Walter.

As always, kudos to everyone for kindly allowing me to get in their face with a camera. Drinks or not, I’m glad to be part of Macon’s Cocktail Hour.

See all thirteen photographs here. Thanks.

Soon: Snapshots, plus, finally, some stuff from this fall’s Maine trip. Thanks for stopping by.
