Cocktail Hour with John and Elizabeth

Enjoyed a really nice — if too short — Cocktail Hour tonight. Alas, due to workload, it was literally an hour (well, a little plus — not enough), so only a few photographs from the evening.

But one I like of the hosts. Both of ‘em:

John’s there. Check carefully. (Yes, this photograph was also framed carefully. Why do you ask?)

What? Don’t believe me? Look at the next photograph in the gallery (10 photographs total) to see what he’s up to in the background.

The photo of the night, though, goes to … John’s mother:

I love, always, Besty’s great smile (something I didn’t get a good shot of last week). But the bonus of Monica’s completely contented look in the background is more than I’d hoped for.

Further, spent a few moments waiting for this shot, and they knew it — yet they still let me take it. Nice.

Cocktail Hour is one of the reasons I stayed in Macon. Good people having, despite what’s going on in everyone’s world right now, a good time — as a community.

Thanks, to everyone.

Offline working on something this weekend, so next new posts into the new week — including the (overdue) snapshots, some stuff from Maine, and the surprise for someone that this weekend represents. Fun! As always, thanks for stopping by.
