Home Update — and a MagTard Bonus
I’m grateful that the huge project that has been my home remodeling is drawing closer and closer to the finish line, and I’m grateful for the attention and support from folks near and far.
Indeed, this support has been vital. Many thanks to you all.
A special call-out to these two:

Guys’ Hero Shot
Jody, on the left, is running the day-to-day project (and is someone you’ve met before, if you’ve been following along). Keith, on the right, is doing the finish carpentry — the most visible details of the project.
He commutes over weekly from Alabama, towing his shop behind his truck, sets up, and kicks ass. Especially the day the above photograph was taken, his fiftieth birthday. Well done, sir.
Meanwhile, there are also the usual detail shots, like this example of why I kept the old windows:

Wavy Glass (Patterns)
105 photographs later, the project is coming together. Here’s the latest, from this afternoon:

Floors!
Lots of controversy regarding the floors; bold choices, sure, but I really like the bright colors — and feel that when the space is painted and decorated, it’ll look great. I’m also incredibly excited to see them finally go in — it’s a huge milestone.
See the whole gallery here. Thanks for checking in.
Up next, details from another home remodel, after we’ve talked about the abbreviated party with MagTard Friday night.
Including this guy:

The (Original) Magnificent Bastard
Talk about colorful, bold choices…;)
Wow. You’re house looks amazing. And, yes, bold choices for the floor. :)
