Stuck at Home

Mind you, I’m not complaining. Too much.

I could have done without the personal issues, including, among other things, a huge insult … courtesy of the Catholic Church. Hey, thanks!

Meanwhile, I’ve put the Maine photographs — and book — on hold until I can get the schedule back under control. I’m also enjoying a logo diversion I’ve been going back and forth with, which I hope to share with you soon, and, the house-remodel gallery is up to 89 photographs.

Including this one:

Matching Kitchen Windows

I’m making some unconventional choices here, including a window over the stove instead of cabinets, a microwave, or a range hood. I felt the extra light the window offered would be more important, as I’d enjoy it every day; I used the fan over my previous stove only rarely. Plus, I get the bonus of not having to turn on a light in the middle of the day.

As shown here, in one of the latest photographs in the gallery:

First Shot of New Room(s)

Plenty of (late afternoon) light — including a quite wonderful shaft of dusty sun shining in over where the sink will be. I’m getting genuinely excited about this space. It’s going to be fantastic.

Along the way, there have been some materials-as-art photographs, too:

Drywall, Stacked

Much more to come, once I’ve gotten my act back together (generally speaking). Thanks for your patience.
